Ameen Abdullah, 25 years old, considers himself an open book. Born in Haiti, Ameen moved to Brooklyn, New York before his first birthday, but claims the Queens as his home, where he’s lived since he was 10 years old. Aside from rapping, he also writes poetry, considering himself more then just a rapper.Visit Ameen on Myspace
Ameen started rapping at sixteen, on his block, trains, and in school. In 2006, Ameen took a hiatus from his rapping, before a trip to Africa, on which he converted from Christianity, to Muslim and became extremely religious. He was inspired to start rapping again because he wanted to improve his game and see where he stood.
Ameen’s first open mic he performed at a New York open mic poetry slam, in 2008. Following that performance, Ameen realized how much he missed the game, and in 2009 his first mix tape dropped.

I'm a 21 year old rapper from Kankakee, Illinois. I've been rappingYou can listen to his mixtape at http://www.datpiff.com/STO_Records_Daddy_GoGo_Chapter_1_Growth.m144218.html
for over nine years, though I only just started recording from home on
April 16th of this year. I like to do songs with messages as my main
focus, and I've been building a reputation of going against what's
'hot' in the media a lot of the time to make the music -I- want to
hear. When I do my tracks I have three other 'personalities' or
'styles' to work with. My primary overall style is just how I normally
am, Daddy GoGo. The others are Dok'Ta J--the educator & love doctor,
Hades--more agressive side and darker emotioned one, and
Persephone--the point of view of women in my life spanning from my
mother to girls I meet. 'She' is also like Hades, and much more
agressive at times.
